Primary Hepatic Lymphoma in a Patient with Rheumatoid Arthritis Treated with Methotrexate

open access: yesCase Reports in Hematology, 2014
Primary hepatic lymphoma (PHL) has rarely been reported in patients with immunosuppression. We herein describe a case of Epstein-Barr virus- (EBV-) positive PHL in a 67-year-old Japanese woman receiving methotrexate (MTX) treatment for rheumatoid ...

Circ_0002984 promotes proliferation, migration and inflammatory cytokine secretion and inhibits apoptosis of rheumatoid arthritis fibroblast-like synoviocytes by inducing PCSK6 through miR-543

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Research, 2023
Background Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is inflammatory arthritic disease, and circular RNA is involved in RA development. The aim of the present work is to analyze the role of circ_0002984 in the process of RA fibroblast-like synoviocytes (RAFLSs) and the ...

Magnetoelectric BaTiO3/CoFe2O4 Thin‐Film Meshes for Neuronal Differentiation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We engineer an epitaxial BaTiO3/CoFe2O4 magnetoelectric mesh that overcomes boundary‐induced mechanical clamping. Progressively reducing the mechanical constraint, from substrate‐clamped to PDMS‐transferred and ultimately freestanding, enhances magnetic‐to‐electric transduction and strengthens magnetoelectric coupling.

MicroRNA-543 acts as a prognostic marker and promotes the cell proliferation in cervical cancer by BRCA1-interacting protein 1

open access: yesTumor Biology, 2017
Human cervical cancer is one of the most common malignancies worldwide. Recent studies have focused on microRNAs that play crucial roles in cancer development and progression of cervical cancer.

Identification of a novel A2 allele through nt543 substitution

open access: yesJournal of the Formosan Medical Association, 2020
Background: ABO blood system has many subgroups. In A group, A1 phenotype and A2 phenotype are more common, and A2 is caused by deletion or substitution in A1 allele (ABO*A1.01). Methods: Based on standard ABO serological test, the subject was identified

Responsive Membrane Antenna Enables Adaptive Biohybrid Interface for Photosynthesis Promotion, Stress Reporting and Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An environmentally responsive antenna assembled onto the algal cell membrane creates a biohybrid with a responsive interface that promotes photosynthesis under normal conditions and shifts to H2O2‐triggered stress reporting and modulation upon stress onset, boosting environmental sensing and adaptive response.
