Evaluación de sistemas de alojamiento para ratones inmunodeficientes bajo experiencia

open access: yesAnalecta Veterinaria, 2011
Las investigaciones que utilizan ratones inmunodeficientes requieren el uso de una infraestructura adecuada y estandarizada, que debe garantizar el mantenimiento correcto de estas cepas y asegurar la obtención de resultados confiables.

The Friedmann universe of dust by Regge Calculus: study of its ending point [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2000
We develop an evolution scheme, based on Sorkin algorithm, to evolve the most complex regular tridimensional polytope, the 600-cell. This application has been already studied before and all authors found a stop point for the evolution of the spatial section. In our opinion a clear and satisfactory meaning to this behaviour has not been given.

Landscape of BRAF transcript variants in human cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We investigate the annotation of BRAF variants, focusing on protein‐coding BRAF‐220 (formerly BRAF‐reference) and BRAF‐204 (BRAF‐X1). The IsoWorm pipeline allows us to quantify these variants in human cancer, starting from RNA‐sequencing data. BRAF‐204 is more abundant than BRAF‐220 and impacts patient survival.

To Get Overall Shapes and New Data of the 120-Cell and the 600-Cell [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
This research will be helpful for people to display the 2-dimensiona projective models of 4-variable actual problems in many fields, in order to investigate deeply those actual problems. By using the theory of N-dimensional finite rotation group of the regular polytopes, the author established the 2-dimensional projective model of 4-dimensional ...

Dose‐dependent induction of epithelial‐mesenchymal transition in 3D melanoma models by non‐thermal plasma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Non‐thermal plasma treatment of melanoma cells induced epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in a dose‐dependent fashion. This report highlights the critical need to further investigate potential adverse effects of non‐thermal plasma for cancer therapy and to optimize treatment parameters for clinical translation. Despite the promising results of non‐

BMP antagonist CHRDL2 enhances the cancer stem‐cell phenotype and increases chemotherapy resistance in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Overexpression of CHRDL2 in colon cancer cells makes them more stem‐like and resistant to chemo‐ and radiotherapy. CHRDL2‐high cells have upregulation of the WNT pathway, genes involved in the DNA damage response (DDR) pathway and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT). This leads to quicker repair of damaged DNA and more cell migration.

Unbinding the Deuteron [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2008
We consider a description of the deuteron based on meson exchange potentials. A key feature is the inclusion of the I=S=0 two-pion intermediate state ('sigma(600)') as a significant component of the inter-nucleon potential energy. In this approach, deuteron binding is seen to be predominantly a consequence of sigma(600) and omega(783) exchange, with a ...

Thermal Correction of Astigmatism in the Gravitational Wave Observatory GEO 600 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The output port of GEO 600 is dominated by unwanted high order modes (HOMs). The current thermal actuation system, a ring heater behind one of the folding mirrors, causes a significant amount of astigmatism, which produces HOMs. We have built and installed an astigmatism correction system, based on heating this folding mirror at the sides (laterally ...

Mapping Hsp104 interactions using cross‐linking mass spectrometry

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, Volume 15, Issue 6, Page 922-939, June 2025.
This study examines how cross‐linking mass spectrometry can be utilized to analyze ATP‐induced conformational changes in Hsp104 and its interactions with substrates. We developed an analytical pipeline to distinguish between intra‐ and inter‐subunit contacts within the hexameric homo‐oligomer and discovered contacts between Hsp104 and a selected ...

Charge Sharing Effect on 600 μm Pitch Pixelated CZT Detector for Imaging Applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We are currently investigating the spatial resolution of highly pixelated Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) detector for imaging applications. A 20 mm {\times} 20 mm {\times} 5 mm CZT substrate was fabricated with 600 {\mu}m pitch pixels (500 {\mu}m anode pixels with 100 {\mu}m gap) and coplanar cathode.
