Comparison of ‘classic’ 99mTc–DTPA, 99mTc(CO)3–DTPA and 99mTc(CO)2(NO)–DTPA
Tetrahedron, 2005Abstract Diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA) was labeled with 99mTc in three different ways, resulting in ‘classic’ 99mTc–DTPA, 99mTc(CO)3–DTPA and 99mTc(CO)2(NO)–DTPA. The biodistribution of the formed DTPA-complexes was studied in mice with a special emphasis on the behavior of the novel tricarbonyl and dicarbonyl-nitrosyl complexes, which ...

[Comparison of brain scintigraphy with 99mTc-pertechnate and 99mTc-citrate].
Nuklearmedizin. Nuclear medicine, 197820 patients with ultimately proven cerebral lesion were studied consecutively with 99mTc-pertechnetate and 99mTc-citrate. A comparison of the brain scans showed neoplastic lesions to be visualized more clearly with 99mTc-citrate, and vascular lesions to be demonstrated better with 99mTc-pertechnetate.

The aim of the study was to assess the efficacy of technetium 99m-methyl diphosphonate (Tc-MDP) and technetium 99m-methoxyisobutylisonitrile (Tc-MIBI) as radioaerosol alternatives to technetium 99m-diethylenetriaminepentacetate (Tc-DTPA) in the evaluation of pulmonary thromboembolism, as the direct consequence of the possible outcome could be cost ...

Studies were performed in vitro and in vivo to evaluate the binding properties and metabolism of [99mTc]Cl(CDO)3BMe (Teboroxime) and [99mTc]Cl(DMG)3B2MP in blood and target tissues of rats. Both radiopharmaceuticals displayed rapid binding (within 1-3 min) with high affinity to plasma proteins and blood cells.

Preparation and biodistribution of 99mTc-lomefloxacin and 99mTc-ofloxacin complexes
Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry, 2007This paper addresses the development of two new radiopharmaceuticals for infection imaging. The optimization of the labeling yield of ciprofloxacin analogous, lomefloxacin and ofloxacin, with 99mTc is described. 99mTc-lomefloxacin was obtained with a radiochemical yield of 93.6% by adding 99mTc to 2.5 mg lomefloxacin in the presence of 50 μg SnCl2 ...

99mTc-MAG3 and 99mTc-DMSA in the detection and assessment of pyelonephritis.
Journal of nuclear biology and medicine (Turin, Italy : 1991), 1993In this report, we present the case of a patient suffering from recurrent acute pyelonephritis and who had a hypertrophic right kidney following left nephrectomy. 99mTc-dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA) scan is known to be of value in the diagnosis of pyelonephritis, based on the detection of parenchymal abnormalities.
