Feasibility of high-frequency alternating current power for motor auxiliary loads in vehicles

open access: yes, 2011
This paper presents a feasibility study into the application of a 100-V, 50-kHz high-frequency ac (HFAC) network for powering automotive electrical auxiliaries. The study is focused on motor-actuated loads and is divided into two sections.

Control Strategies for Open-End Winding Drives Operating in the Flux-Weakening Region [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This paper presents and compares control strategies for three-phase open-end winding drives operating in the flux-weakening region. A six-leg inverter with a single dc-link is associated with the machine in order to use a single energy source.

Magnetic field effects and transverse ratchets in charge lattices coupled to asymmetric substrates

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2023
We examine a charge lattice coupled to a one-dimensional asymmetric potential in the presence of an applied magnetic field, which induces gyrotropic effects in the charge motion. This system could be realized for Wigner crystals in nanostructured samples,

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Research on the Main and Auxiliary Traction System of Large-size Mine Electric-wheel Dump Truck

open access: yesKongzhi Yu Xinxi Jishu, 2022
At present, auxiliary traction control system of most electric-wheel dump trucks in domestic market is driven by diesel engine to drive cooling fan to dissipate heat, the cooling power cannot be changed by frequency conversion, and the fuel consumption ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Power Factor Correction of Three-Phase PWM AC Chopper Fed Induction Motor Drive System Using HBCC Technique

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, a new control strategy for an induction motor (IM) drive system fed from three-phase pulse width modulation (PWM) ac chopper is proposed.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Optimal Efficiency Controller of AC Drive System [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Applications, 2013
This paper has presented a mathematical-based scheme for induction motor drive system leading to efficiency optimization. The proposed scheme uses information on torque of the squirrel cage motor to generate the appropriate voltage amplitude that maximizes the motor efficiency.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.
