Adolescent social isolation disrupts hippocampal function and exacerbates emotional symptoms, with sex‐specific patterns, as shown by human studies. In mice, social isolation decreased hippocampal synaptic density and calcium signaling, upregulated complement proteins, and activated complement‐mediated microglial synaptic phagocytosis.

On Gakerkin approximations for the surface-active quasigeostrophic equations
We study the representation of solutions of the three-dimensional quasigeostrophic (QG) equations using Galerkin series with standard vertical modes, with particular attention to the incorporation of active surface buoyancy dynamics.

ABSTRACT This study investigates the hydrodynamic influence of forward transom tapering on a displacement catamaran hull using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations. Five taper configurations ranging from a vertical transom base design to a fully tapered stern (1.00B) were evaluated over a wide Froude number range (Fr = .3 to 1.0).

Enhancing academic engagement: Growth mindset and academic buoyancy in emerging adulthood
Academic engagement is key for students' academic success, life satisfaction, and overall student well-being. Emerging adult students often face various pressures that significantly influence their AE. This study aims to explore the mediating role of AB in the influence of a GM on AE among emerging adults.

Exploring the Use and Impact of Composite Materials in Robotics: A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT Lightweight and high‐strength materials are important in robotics, as structural design impacts efficiency, payload capacity, and energy consumption. Composite materials, with their superior stiffness‐to‐weight ratios and multifunctional properties, offer clear advantages over conventional metals and polymers.

Quantum buoyancy, generalized second law, and higher-dimensional entropy bounds
Bekenstein has presented evidence for the existence of a universal upper bound of magnitude $2\pi R/\hbar c$ to the entropy-to-energy ratio $S/E$ of an arbitrary {\it three} dimensional system of proper radius $R$ and negligible self-gravity.

Academic Buoyancy: A Scale Development and Validation Study
The primary aim of this study was to develop a reliable and valid tool for evaluating students' academic buoyancy. After the exploratory factor analysis, a structure comprising 26 items and five factors was formed. These factors were identified as commitment, composure, confidence, coordination, and control, collectively explaining 60.20% of the ...
