Statistical analysis of double stress accelerated life testing under adaptive type-Ⅱ progressive censoring

open access: yesXibei Gongye Daxue Xuebao
Aiming at the traditional accelerated life test only considering the single stress and single failure cause, the inference method of double stress accelerated competing risks data is studied under the adaptive type-Ⅱ progressively censored and the life ...

Erythropoietin modulates hepatic inflammation, glucose homeostasis, and soluble epoxide hydrolase and epoxides in high‐fat diet‐induced obese mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

Accelerated Life Testing of Marine Electrical Insulation Systems Based on Frequency-Dependent Breakdown Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
Marine power systems, including generators and transformers, experience voltage stress at various frequencies. Once the stress exceeds the bearing capacity of the electrical system, it results in insulation breakdown or failure.

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Constant-Stress Partially Accelerated Life Testing for Weibull Inverted Exponential Distribution with Censored Data

open access: yesIraqi Journal for Computer Science and Mathematics
The novelty of this article is estimating the parameters of Weibull inverted exponential (WIE) distribution with a constant stress partially accelerated life test (PALT) under adaptive type-II progressively censored samples.

Digital twins to accelerate target identification and drug development for immune‐mediated disorders

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Digital twins integrate patient‐derived molecular and clinical data into personalised computational models that simulate disease mechanisms. They enable rapid identification and validation of therapeutic targets, prediction of drug responses, and prioritisation of candidate interventions.

open access: yesJurnal Teknologi dan Industri Pangan, 2010
Accelerated shelf life testing (ASLT) method was used to determine the shelf life of tortilla chips based on critical moisture content approach. Crispiness was found to be the critical parameter in tortilla chips deterioation.

Rapid screening of staphylokinase protein variants using an unpurified cell‐free expression system

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
An unpurified cell‐free protein synthesis (CFPS) platform enables rapid functional screening of staphylokinase variants. Direct plasminogen‐activation assays performed in microplate format provide real‐time activity readouts, allowing rapid identification and ranking of variants with improved or reduced fibrinolytic activity without protein ...

Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.
