The strengths of ACES II involve the use of many-body perturbation theory (MBPT) and coupled-cluster (CC) theory for calculating the energy, geometry, spectra, and properties of small- to medium-sized molecules.

Ac loss minimum in type II superconductors
Physics Letters A, 1980Abstract Theoretical predictions with respect to a minimum in the ac losses in type II superconductors are compared with experimental results on Nb-50% Ti and Nb-10% Mo. Extensions of the theory are suggested to explain the deviations.

Some equivalents of AC in algebra II
Algebra Universalis, 1998[For Part I see ibid. 36, No. 4, 564-572 (1996; Zbl 0902.04002).] It is shown that the Axiom of Choice is equivalent to the statement: Any quotient group of any abelian group has a selector. Further, the Multiple Choice Axiom is equivalent to the statement: Any filter in any boolean ring has a well-ordered filterbase.
