A sensitive method for the quantitation of lysophosphatidylcholine in canine heart.

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1985
We have developed a procedure for the determination of small amounts of lysophosphatidylcholine in cardiac tissue. Lysophosphatidylcholine from canine heart was separated from the major phospholipids by column chromatography, and then acetylated with ...

New methods for preparing N,N-dialkyltrifluoroacetamides [PDF]

open access: yes
The customary preparative methods for N,N-dialkyltrifluoroacetamides involve the acylation of an amine by trifluoroacetic acid or its derivatives.

Acetylene terminated aspartimides and resins therefrom [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
Acetylene terminated aspartimides are prepared using two methods. In the first, an amino-substituted aromatic acetylene is reacted with an aromatic bismaleimide in a solvent of glacial acetic acid and/or m-cresol.

Exploring Acrylic Acid as an Oxirane Nucleophile: Direct Access to Poly(β‐Hydroxy Acrylates)

open access: yesChemSusChem, EarlyView.
Within, we present a scalable, solvent‐free route to β‐hydroxy acrylate monomers using acrylic acid (AA) as a nucleophile with various oxiranes. Once polymerized, the resulting polymers are optically transparent, thermally stable, and range from brittle to ductile. This straightforward method underscores AA's potential in sustainable, bio‐based polymer

Novel polyimide compositions based on 4,4': Isophthaloyldiphthalic anaydride (IDPA) [PDF]

open access: yes
A series of twelve high temperature, high performance polyimide compositions based on 4,4'-isophthaloyl diphthalic anhydride (IDPA) was prepared and characterized. Tough, film-forming, organic solvent-insoluble polyimides were obtained.

Bombyx Mori Silk Fibroin as a Sustainable Organocatalyst for Diastereoselective Michael Additions

open access: yesChemSusChem, EarlyView.
Silk fibroin, natural biopolymer, has been successfully used as green catalyst for Michael addition reactions under mild conditions. Its pseudoenzymatic pocket enables enzyme‐like catalytic behavior, driving stereoselectivity, and highlighting a sustainable, nature‐inspired catalytic approach.
