Development of a Protocol for Long‐Term Ex Vivo Normothermic Machine Perfusion of Rodent Livers
Long‐term normothermic machine perfusion (LT‐NMP) is the next revolution in liver transplantation and could support grafts for days, and potentially weeks. A rodent model of LT‐NMP is important for laboratory research, but has not been achieved until now. Our study describes a protocol for LT‐NMP of rodent livers.

Real‐World Therapeutic Hypothermia for Neonatal HIE: Neurodevelopmental Outcomes and Predictors
ABSTRACT Aim This study assessed neurodevelopmental outcomes in neonates with hypoxic‐ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) treated with therapeutic hypothermia (TH) outside randomised controlled trials (RCTs). It also aimed to identify predictors of outcomes and evaluate TH practices across centres.

Aerospace medicine required controlled terrestrial models to investigate influences of altered atmosphere conditions, such as hypoxia, on human health and performance. These models could potentially be expanded to encompass disease conditions or treatment targets regulated through hypoxia or hypercapnia.

In a multicenter study of 692 patients with kidney disease, a 44‐gene panel achieved a 36% diagnostic yield. The 36% yield was not significantly lower than with larger panels or whole‐exome sequencing. A post hoc machine‐learning model identified key predictors to stratify patients into four risk bins (11%–74% yield), enabling more cost‐effective ...
