A C‐terminal seven‐amino acid motif in C3 protein of tobacco curly shoot virus is essential for viral replication enhancement, recruiting NbPOLA2 to facilitate the viral double‐stranded DNA replication intermediate synthesis. ABSTRACT The C3 protein of tobacco curly shoot virus (TbCSV), a possible evolutionary intermediate between truly monopartite ...

Cassava disease detection using a lightweight modified soft attention network
The main framework of the proposed CDDNet approach. Abstract BACKGROUND Cassava is a high‐carbohydrate crop that is at risk of viral infections. The production rate and quality of cassava crops are affected by several diseases. However, the manual identification of diseases is challenging and requires considerable time because of the lack of field ...

Pathogenicity and phylogeny of Labyrinthula spp. isolated in Washington and Oregon, USA
Abstract The class Labyrinthulomycetes constitutes a multitude of species found ubiquitously in the environment, and includes pathogens of corals, hard clams, turfgrasses, and seagrasses. Labyrinthula zosterae, the causative agent of seagrass wasting disease, has been associated with declines in seagrass coverage since the 1930s.

Halogenated Adenine and Adenosine Natural Products in Streptomyces sp. JCM9888
It is demonstrated that the chlorine containing dealanylascamycin producer Streptomyces sp. JCM9888 has a capacity also to brominate to generate C‐2 halogenated adenines and adenosines as well as brominated dealanylascamycin. It is noted that halogenation can occur independently of sulfamoyl moiety assembly. Abstract Ascamycin 1 and dealanylascamycin 2
