Time‐Restricted Feeding Alters Behavior in a Sex‐Specific Manner in Mice With Neuropathic Pain

open access: yesMolecular Nutrition &Food Research, Volume 70, Issue 8, 27 April 2026.
Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) alleviates anxiety‐like behavior in male mice with neuropathic pain (NP), but not in females. Upon nerve injury, TRF altered the diurnal expression of transcripts in the hypothalamus. These findings suggest that TRF should be explored as a new therapeutic approach to alleviate the comorbid anxiety in NP.

Role of Sleep Disturbances and Diabetes‐Related Distress on Glycemic Control: A Path Analysis

open access: yesResearch in Nursing &Health, Volume 49, Issue 2, Page 137-145, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Despite advancements in diabetes management technology, many patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) struggle to achieve optimal glycemic control. Sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and insomnia are common in T2D and linked to poor glycemic control. Insomnia, particularly with short sleep duration, may worsen glycemic control by

Bridging Psychological Stress and Skin Cellular Aging: Flavonoids as a Dual‐Action Therapeutic Strategy

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, Volume 40, Issue 4, Page 1970-2002, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Psychological stress (or simply “stress”) is a major contributor to chronic disease worldwide, affecting 35% of the global population, including younger generations. Furthermore, it plays a significant role in human premature aging; hence, its detrimental effects on people's health compel us to comprehend and control the ways in which ...

Transcriptomic Determinants of Circulating Immunity Predict Immune‐Related Adverse Events (irAEs) in Cancer Patients Receiving PD‐1/PD‐L1 Blockade

open access: yesThoracic Cancer, Volume 17, Issue 7, April 2026.
PBMC transcriptomic profiling identifies FXYD7, SPSB2, SLC35E2A, C2, and SERPING1 as predictive biomarkers for irAEs in cancer patients receiving PD‐1/PD‐L1 blockade, enabling noninvasive risk stratification through liquid biopsy‐based classifiers with high accuracy. ABSTRACT Background Despite the remarkable success of immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)

Acid–Base Dysregulation Links Aging Metabolism to Frailty

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 4, April 2026.
Our Metabolic Buffer Model posits that chronic acid load from aging and accumulated stressors depletes total acid buffer reserve, disrupting intersystem crosstalk. This hidden homeostatic erosion drives clinical frailty and underlies homeostatic failure during stress, unifying Rockwood's deficit accumulation and Fried's phenotype models.
