Review of nomenclature for Actinidiaceae in Australia

open access: yesTelopea, 2021
A lectotype is chosen for Australia’s only native species of Actinidiaceae, Dillenia andreana F.Muell. A case is made for Saurauia andreana (F.Muell.) Oliv. ex F.Muell. to be treated as a new combination based on Dillenia andreana rather than as the name of a new taxon.

Comparative Analysis Revealed Intrageneric and Intraspecific Genomic Variation in Chloroplast Genomes of Actinidia spp. (Actinidiaceae, Viridiplantae)

open access: yesHorticulturae, 2023
About ten species of the genus Actinidia Lindl. are known as cultivated plants—alongside the most known A. chinensis var. deliciosa, there are many others, including Far-Eastern cold-hardy kiwifruits such as A. arguta, A. kolomikta, and A.

The cytology of Actinidia, Saurauia and Clematoclethra (Actinidiaceae) [PDF]

open access: yesBotanical Journal of the Linnean Society, 2005
Meiosis and mitosis of six Chinese Actinidiaceae were studied: Saurauia tristyla DC., S. miniata C. F. Liang & Y. S. Wang, Actinidia chinensis Plach., A. deliciosa (Cheval.) C. F. Liang & A. R. Ferguson, A. indochinensis Merr. and Clematoclethra lasioclada Maxim. The chromosome numbers of Saurauia tristyla and S. miniata were 2n = 6x = 78, establishing

The complete chloroplast genome sequence of Actinidia arguta using the PacBio RS II platform. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2018
Actinidia arguta is the most basal species in a phylogenetically and economically important genus in the family Actinidiaceae. To better understand the molecular basis of the Actinidia arguta chloroplast (cp), we sequenced the complete cp genome from A ...
