Pulse interactions and self-replication in activator-inhibitor type reaction-diffusion systems
This phenomenon of self-replicating spots and pulses was discovered in the Gray-Scott model and in a series of gel reactor experiments. In this talk, I will present some analytical and numerical results for pulse dynamics and self-replication in one and ...

Global feedback control of Turing patterns in network-organized activator-inhibitor systems
Results of the first systematic study on feedback control of nonequilibrium pattern formation in networks are reported. Effects of global feedback control on Turing patterns in network-organized activator-inhibitor system have been investigated.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Analyzing the dynamic behavior of the Gierer–Meinhardt model using finite difference method
In this paper, a numerical computation method for the Gierer–Meinhardt model in two-dimensional space diffusion with homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions, considering the interaction between activator and inhibitor substances, is proposed.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Tentacle morphogenesis in hydra [PDF]
Differentiation of sensory nerve cells in tentacles of Hydra magnipapillata was investigated using the monoclonal antibody NV1. NV1+ sensory nerve cells form specific complexes with battery cells in tentacles.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Expression of type 1 plasminogen activator inhibitor in renal tissue in murine lupus nephritis
Expression of type 1 plasminogen activator inhibitor in renal tissue in murine lupus nephritis. Many renal diseases are associated with fibrin deposition in the glomeruli, a situation that reflects an abnormality in the balance between the coagulation ...
