Simulation on Active Disturbance Rejection Control

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
A highly robust active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC) is developed in this paper. The proposed ADRC consists of a tracking differentiator (TD) in the feed forward path, an extended state observer (ESO), and a nonlinear state error feedback control law (NLSEF) in the feedback path.

Controller design for disturbance removal using active disturbance rejection control

2016 IEEE 12th International Colloquium on Signal Processing & Its Applications (CSPA), 2016
In this study, we propose an improved active disturbance rejection control (ADRC). The basic idea behind ADRC is to model a system with a disturbance that represents any difference between the model and the actual system, including external disturbances.

Active Disturbance Rejection Optimal Control for Quadrotors

2020 17th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD), 2020
In this work, the altitude control of a quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle is treated using its altitude dynamics in hover mode. Due to persistent aerodynamic disturbances, the control of a quadrotor unit is cumbersome; especially, the ground wake effect which comes into play during landing.

Active Disturbance Rejection Control for Discrete Systems

2020 IEEE 9th Data Driven Control and Learning Systems Conference (DDCLS), 2020
A form of active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) is proposed for a kind of discrete systems in this paper. The state space form of the system is firstly formulated. Then the extended state observers (ESO) with and without model information are presented to estimate states and total disturbance.

Active Disturbance Rejection Control of Linear Induction Motor

IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 2016
This paper proposes the theoretical framework and the experimental application of the active disturbance rejection control to linear induction motors. Such a nonlinear control (ADRC) technique can be viewed as a particular kind of input-output linearization control, where the nonlinear transformation of the state is not computed by means of the model ...

Active disturbance rejection controller for space teleoperation

International Conference on Automatic Control and Artificial Intelligence (ACAI 2012), 2012
As space teleoperation becomes a new hotspot in space exploration, interesting control challenges including large variant timedelay, model error and unpredicted disturbances are presented. Though good results have been received using linear error feedback controller such as PID algorithm, limited robustness and tracking performance are still big ...

Active Disturbance Rejection Control of Chemical Processes

2007 IEEE 22nd International Symposium on Intelligent Control, 2007
In this paper a novel control strategy, the active disturbance rejection control (ADRC), is applied to the representative process control problems. In the ADRC framework, the disturbance and unmeasured dynamics associated with chemical processes are treated as an additional state variable, which is then estimated and compensated for in real time.

Active Disturbance Rejection Control for Rejecting Boundary Disturbance from Multidimensional Kirchhoff Plate via Boundary Control

SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, 2014
In this paper, an algorithm is developed to reject time and spatially varying boundary disturbances from a multidimensional Kirchhoff plate via boundary control. The disturbance and control input are assumed to be matched. The active disturbance rejection control approach is adopted for developing the algorithm.

Active disturbance rejection based iterative learning control

2016 Chinese Control and Decision Conference (CCDC), 2016
The traditional iterative learning control (ILC) algorithm improves the control performance by updating the control input to implicitly compensate the periodic uncertainties. In order to enhance the convergence rate of ILC, a new concept, iterative extended state observer (IESO), is presented which can estimate explicitly the periodic uncertainties ...

Active disturbance rejection control of refrigeration system

2016 12th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation (WCICA), 2016
This paper proposes an active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) with a delay time part to control the superheat and evaporator temperature of refrigeration systems. This approach uses static decoupling to realize decoupling control. In order to improve the performance of static decoupling, an extra delay-time element is introduced into the input ...
