This paper introduces a robust Fuzzy Sliding‐Mode Controller (FSMC) that takes into account uncertainties in a semi‐active suspension system for a nonlinear full‐vehicle model. The proposed control method has been combined with two double‐input‐single‐output fuzzy controllers to enhance both ride comfort and road‐holding performance.
