Distributed Adaptive Fault-Tolerant Control of Uncertain Multi-Agent Systems [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
This paper presents an adaptive fault-tolerant control (FTC) scheme for a class of nonlinear uncertain multi-agent systems. A local FTC scheme is designed for each agent using local measurements and suitable information exchanged between neighboring agents.

Time, the final frontier

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This article advocates integrating temporal dynamics into cancer research. Rather than relying on static snapshots, researchers should increasingly consider adopting dynamic methods—such as live imaging, temporal omics, and liquid biopsies—to track how tumors evolve over time.

AFDI: A Virtualization-based Accelerated Fault Diagnosis Innovation for High Availability Computing [PDF]

open access: yesIJCSI International Journal of Computer Science Issues, Volume 12, Issue 3, May 2015, 2015
Fault diagnosis has attracted extensive attention for its importance in the exceedingly fault management framework for cloud virtualization, despite the fact that fault diagnosis becomes more difficult due to the increasing scalability and complexity in a heterogeneous environment for a virtualization technique.

Inhibitor of DNA binding‐1 is a key regulator of cancer cell vasculogenic mimicry

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Elevated expression of transcriptional regulator inhibitor of DNA binding 1 (ID1) promoted cancer cell‐mediated vasculogenic mimicry (VM) through regulation of pro‐angiogenic and pro‐cancerous genes (e.g. VE‐cadherin (CDH5), TIE2, MMP9, DKK1). Higher ID1 expression also increased metastases to the lung and the liver.
