Analysis of fatal intracranial hemorrhage in 792 acute leukemia patients

Forty-one of 792 acute leukemia patients suffered fatal intracranial hemorrhage (FICH). Acute promyelocytic leukemia was the most common subtype. Achievement of complete remission in AML was significantly influenced by FICH.
