It's a Gas: Bioconjugation With Vapor‐Phase Reagents

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 32, Issue 17, 5 May 2026.
Gaseous reagents are an emerging class of bioconjugation reagents that can offer alternative selectivity paradigms for the construction of precise bioconjugates. A variety of both inert and highly reactive gases have recently been developed for bioconjugation use.

Recent Progress in Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Pd Catalyst Systems for Suzuki‐Miyaura Coupling in the Absence of Added Base

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 9, 14 May 2026.
Suzuki–Miyaura coupling (SMC) is a powerful C─C bond forming method, but stoichiometric bases cause salt byproducts and protodeboronation. Base free SMC overcomes these issues and expands the range of compatible substrates. ABSTRACT Suzuki‐Miyaura coupling reaction (SMC) is an efficient method for constructing C─C bonds.

Triacylglycerol synthesis in rat adipose tissue : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Biochemistry at Massey University [PDF]

open access: yes, 1983
Adipose tissue consists of two types of cell; the adipocyte and the non-adipocyte {Rodbell, 1964). The adipocyte is unique amongst mammalian cell types in that one class of component {TG) comprises up to 80% of its weight.

Palmitoylation of Desmoglein 2 Is a Regulator of Assembly Dynamics and Protein Turnover. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Desmosomes are prominent adhesive junctions present between many epithelial cells as well as cardiomyocytes. The mechanisms controlling desmosome assembly and remodeling in epithelial and cardiac tissue are poorly understood.

Stress Granule‐Associated ZmCTU2 Confers Thermotolerance in Maize via Coordinated Regulation of Proteostasis and ROS Homeostasis

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 5, Page 3371-3390, May 2026.
ABSTRACT The escalating global temperatures and intensifying heat stress events pose significant threats to maize productivity worldwide. Uncovering key thermotolerance genes and their functional mechanisms is thus critical for developing climate‐resilient crops.

Dual Ligand‐Enabled Nondirected C─H Olefination of (Hetero)Arenes for the Synthesis of Clickable Derivatives

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 32, Issue 15, 22 April 2026.
We report an efficient method for late‐stage installation of “clickable” alkyne groups into diverse (hetero)arenes. Using a dual‐ligand palladium catalyst that combines an NASA ligand with an N‐heterocycle, an acrylate unit bearing a terminal alkyne can be introduced via nondirected C─H activation.

Cross Linking and Degradation Mechanisms in Model Sealant Candidates [PDF]

open access: yes
Model compounds were investigated as to which type of heterocyclic ring is the most advantageous for curing sealants based on perfluoroalkylether chains. The relative thermal, thermal oxidative, hydrolytic, and fuel stability of potential crosslinks were
