Deoxyfluorination of acyl fluorides to trifluoromethyl compounds by FLUOLEAD®/Olah’s reagent under solvent-free conditions [PDF]
A new protocol enabling the formation of trifluoromethyl compounds from acyl fluorides has been developed. The combination of FLUOLEAD® and Olah’s reagent in solvent-free conditions at 70 °C initiated the significant deoxyfluorination of the acyl ...

Nickel-Catalyzed Decarbonylative Stannylation of Acyl Fluorides under Ligand-Free Conditions [PDF]
Nickel-catalyzed decarbonylative stannylation of acyl fluorides under ligand-free conditions was disclosed. A variety of aromatic acyl fluorides are capable of reacting with silylstannanes in the presence of cesium fluoride.

Copper‐Catalyzed Asymmetric Acylboration of 1,3‐Butadienylboronate with Acyl Fluorides [PDF]
AbstractWe report herein a Cu‐catalyzed regio‐, diastereo‐ and enantioselective acylboration of 1,3‐butadienylboronate with acyl fluorides. Under the developed conditions, the reactions provide (Z)‐β,γ‐unsaturated ketones bearing an α‐tertiary stereocenter with high Z‐selectivity and excellent enantioselectivities.

Photoinduced Cleavage of Alkenyl Fluorides for Nucleophilic Acyl Substitution via In Situ Generated Acyl Fluorides [PDF]
Acyl fluorides are valuable intermediates due to their stability and unique reactivity with amines, enabling selective acyl substitution. We report a mild one-pot method to access amides, esters, and thioesters from alkenyl fluorides. Visible-light photoexcitation of 4-nitrophthalonitrile promotes cleavage of the alkenyl fluoride, forming acyl ...

Production and transport of gaseous 18F-synthons: 18F-acyl fluorides [PDF]
Fluorine-18 (18F, T 1/2=109.7 min) is a positron-emitting isotope that has found extensive application as a radiolabel for positron emission tomography (PET). Although gaseous 11C-CO2 and 11C-CH4 are practically transported from cyclotron to radiochemistry processes, 18F-fluoride is routinely transported in aqueous solution because it is commonly ...
