Direct synthesis of acyl fluorides from carboxylic acids using benzothiazolium reagents [PDF]

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry
2-(Trifluoromethylthio)benzothiazolium triflate (BT-SCF3) was used as deoxyfluorinating reagent for the synthesis of versatile acyl fluorides directly from the corresponding carboxylic acids.

Selective O‐Acylation of Enol Silyl Ethers with Acyl Fluorides Catalyzed by Fluoride Ions Derived from Potassium Fluoride and 18‐Crown‐6 [PDF]

open access: yesChemistryOpen
The fluoride ion‐catalyzed selective O‐acylation of enol silyl ethers with acyl fluorides using KF and 18‐Crown‐6 is described herein. This catalytic system facilitated the practical and facile reaction of a variety of enol silyl ethers derived from ...

Copper-Catalyzed Asymmetric Acylboration of 1,3-Butadienylboronate with Acyl Fluorides. [PDF]

open access: yesAngew Chem Int Ed Engl, 2023
AbstractWe report herein a Cu‐catalyzed regio‐, diastereo‐ and enantioselective acylboration of 1,3‐butadienylboronate with acyl fluorides. Under the developed conditions, the reactions provide (Z)‐β,γ‐unsaturated ketones bearing an α‐tertiary stereocenter with high Z‐selectivity and excellent enantioselectivities.

Nickel-Catalyzed Decarbonylative Stannylation of Acyl Fluorides under Ligand-Free Conditions [PDF]

open access: yesMolecules, 2019
Nickel-catalyzed decarbonylative stannylation of acyl fluorides under ligand-free conditions was disclosed. A variety of aromatic acyl fluorides are capable of reacting with silylstannanes in the presence of cesium fluoride.

Photoinduced Cleavage of Alkenyl Fluorides for Nucleophilic Acyl Substitution via In Situ Generated Acyl Fluorides. [PDF]

open access: yesOrg Lett
Acyl fluorides are valuable intermediates due to their stability and unique reactivity with amines, enabling selective acyl substitution. We report a mild, one-pot method to access amides, esters, and thioesters from alkenyl fluorides. Visible-light photoexcitation of 4-nitrophthalonitrile promotes cleavage of the alkenyl fluoride, forming acyl ...

Deoxyfluorination of acyl fluorides to trifluoromethyl compounds by FLUOLEAD®/Olah’s reagent under solvent-free conditions [PDF]

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2020
A new protocol enabling the formation of trifluoromethyl compounds from acyl fluorides has been developed. The combination of FLUOLEAD® and Olah’s reagent in solvent-free conditions at 70 °C initiated the significant deoxyfluorination of the acyl ...

Direct Synthesis of Various Thioesters from Acyl Fluorides and Thiosilanes through the Assistance of a Si-F Bond Formation. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Org Chem
Herein it is described that the coupling reactions of aromatic and aliphatic acyl fluorides with phenyl trimethylsilyl sulfide proceeded smoothly under neat conditions to produce thioester derivatives. The addition of a catalytic amount of typical bases,

Chemoselective Cu-catalyzed acylsilylation of vinyl arenes using silylboronates and acyl fluorides. [PDF]

open access: yesChem Sci
We report the chemoselective copper-catalyzed acylsilylation of vinyl arenes using bench-stable silylboronates and acyl fluorides, which enables efficient access to β-silyl ketones under mild conditions.
