Adaptive Robust Controller for handling Unknown Uncertainty of Robotic Manipulators [PDF]

open access: yes
openThis thesis introduces a new adaptive robust control scheme, specially designed to improve the stability of robotic manipulators and the accuracy of their performance, whenever it takes place under uncertain and dynamic circumstances.

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1429-1452, June 2026.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Adaptive Neuro-Genetic Control of Chaos applied to the Attitude Control Problem

open access: yes, 1997
Conventional adaptive control techniques have for the most part been based on methods for linear or weakly non-linear systems. More recently neural network and genetic algorithm controllers have started to be applied to complex, non-linear dynamic ...

Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1398-1419, June 2026.
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1453-1472, June 2026.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

L1-Adaptive Control for Anesthesia Delivery

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper, we discuss the first application of recently developed L1-adaptive control methods for the closed-loop control of anesthesia delivery during surgery.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1513-1534, June 2026.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

An asymptotic scaling analysis of LQ performance of an approximate adaptive control design

open access: yes, 2002
We consider the adaptive tracking problem for a chain of integrators, where the uncertainty is static and functional. The uncertainty is specified by L2/L∞ or weighted L2/L∞ norm bounds. We analyse a standard Lyapunov-based adaptive design which utilises

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1535-1555, June 2026.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Adaptive Networks Safety Control

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2007
In this paper we suggest a new approach to design of the adaptive network safety control mechanisms. This approach is based on the fuzzy logic theory and allows to formalize both quantitative and qualitative parameters of the network safety system.
