Adaptive Volumetric Video Streaming Platform
2019 6th International Conference on Systems and Informatics (ICSAI), 2019This paper proposes an adaptive volumetric video streaming platform including real-time tracking, adaptive source view selection, DASH streaming, GPU accelerated view synthesis, HEVC decoding and view-dependent rendering. Volumetric use case supports 3 degree of freedom immersive experience with additional limited translational movement.

Adaptation strategies for streaming SVC video
2010 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, 2010This paper aims to determine the best rate adaptation strategy to maximize the received video quality when streaming SVC video over the Internet. Different bandwidth estimation techniques are implemented for different transport protocols, such as using the TFRC rate when available or calculating the packet transmission rate otherwise.
