Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Quasi-Uniform Density Non-Solid Infill Strategy for Axisymmetric Non-Planar Additive Manufacturing [PDF]
Non-solid infill generation in Non-Planar Additive Manufacturing (NPAM) is still an open problem. This is due to mathematical complexities from curvature distortion, as well as bridging limitations inherent in some NPAM processes.

Microstructure Characteristics and Mechanical Properties of High-Strength Invar Alloy by Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing [PDF]
Wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) is a viable technology for manufacturing complex and medium-to-large-sized invar alloy components. However, the cyclic thermal input during the WAAM process may cause the austenite grains in the component to grow ...

The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Comparing Technologies of Additive Manufacturing for the Development of Modular Dosimetry Phantoms in Radiation Therapy [PDF]
In radiotherapy, X-ray imaging and dose quality assurance is often carried out using physical phantoms, which simulate the X-ray attenuation of biological tissue.

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...
