A Blood‐Brain Barrier‐Penetrant Ag(III) Corrole Compound Rescues Alzheimer's Disease Pathology by Targeting Aβ42‐Induced Oxidative Stress

The newly designed metallo‐corrole (Mor‐Cor)Ag(III) with a morpholino group exhibited promising therapeutic potential for Alzheimer's disease. It significantly reduces reactive oxygen species (ROS), decreases GFAP expression, increases neurite length, and decreases cell death compared to other similar metallo‐corroles. Sabatier‐Adjusted d‐Band Centers of Scalable Asymmetric Iron Sites toward Dynamic Nonradical Network for Fast Mineralization with Low‐Amount Oxidant

Asymmetric iron single‐atom catalysts with Sabatier‐adjusted d‐band centers overcome the inherent limitations of peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation by establishing a synergistic nonradical pathway network, achieving exceptional pollutant mineralization (≈85%) at only one‐tenth conventional PMS dosage.

Pirin Transcriptionally Regulates PLA2G4A To Inhibit Ferroptosis in Colorectal Cancer via Lipid Profile Remodeling

This study identifies Pirin (PIR), an iron‐binding protein, as a critical ferroptosis suppressor in colorectal cancer through lipid membrane remodeling. PIR, induced by NRF2 during ferroptotic stress, transcriptionally regulates PLA2G4A to shift cellular lipid composition away from ferroptosis‐permissive polyunsaturated phospholipids.

DNA‐Guided Robust Single‐Protein Electronic Readout

Electronic measurements of single proteins can reveal fundamental insights into their structure, dynamics, and interactions, but reproducibility is severely limited by the intrinsic structural heterogeneity of proteins combined with uncontrolled molecular orientation and electrode contact geometries.
