Unilateral Ankle‐Foot Exoneuromusculoskeleton with Balance‐Sensing Feedback for Self‐Help Telerehabilitation after Stroke

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This study introduces a hybrid robot that integrates mechanical assistance by musculoskeletons (i.e., soft pneumatic muscle with rigid exoskeletal extensions), neuromuscular electrical stimulation, and vibrotactile feedback in a lightweight wearable mechatronic complex applicable to the paretic ankle–foot poststroke for gait restoration. The system can

Visible‐Light‐Promoted Dearomatization for The Construction of Imidazole Scaffolds

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
Lighting up flat aromatics: a visible‐light photocatalytic dearomative acylation of imidazo[1,2‐a]pyridines using α‐keto acids as sustainable acyl radical precursors is reported, leading to dual fluorescent imidazoles. Dearomatization is a powerful strategy for constructing complex carbocycles and heterocycles, though it typically relies on harsh ...

Light Mediated Sulfonylation/C–H Activation/Annulation of Benzimidazoles Derivatives Catalyzed by Diarylmethylium Tetrafluoroborate Salts: An Experimental and Computational Study

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
Through the exploiting of visible‐light, a key photoactive complex, and an acid‐catalyzed proton‐coupled electron transfer, polycyclic sulfonylated benzimidazoles are obtained through a domino process including sulfonylation, C–H activation, and annulation. Diarylmethylium tetrafluoroborates are employed as inexpensive organocatalyst capable of forming

One‐Pot Cascade Synthesis of Isoquinolinone‐Fused Quinoxalines Through Sequential Rh(III)/Pd(II) Catalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
A new one‐pot, dual catalytic strategy for the synthesis of polycyclic isoquinolinone‐fused quinoxalines from commercially available N‐(2‐acetamidophenyl)benzamides and 1,3‐diynes is reported. This transformation proceeds via Rh(III)/Pd(II)‐mediated sequential NH/CH activation/annulation. Detailed mechanistic studies elucidate the reaction pathway. A
