NeoUNet: Towards accurate colon polyp segmentation and neoplasm detection [PDF]
Automatic polyp segmentation has proven to be immensely helpful for endoscopy procedures, reducing the missing rate of adenoma detection for endoscopists while increasing efficiency. However, classifying a polyp as being neoplasm or not and segmenting it at the pixel level is still a challenging task for doctors to perform in a limited time.

ABSTRACT Pathogenic germline variants in the APC gene result in familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) which can escalate into colon cancer. Standard clinical testing failed to identify pathogenic variants in a 4‐generation FAP family. We identified and assessed co‐segregation of a 5′ untranslated region (UTR) variant, NM_001127511.3 (APC) c.‐40G>A ...

Brain tumor multi classification and segmentation in MRI images using deep learning [PDF]
This study proposes a deep learning model for the classification and segmentation of brain tumors from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans. The classification model is based on the EfficientNetB1 architecture and is trained to classify images into four classes: meningioma, glioma, pituitary adenoma, and no tumor.

Cohesins: Crossroad Between Cornelia de Lange Spectrum and Cancer Predisposition
ABSTRACT The cohesin complex plays crucial roles in DNA repair, chromatid separation, and gene transcription regulation. Pathogenic variants in cohesins or dysfunctional transcriptional regulators lead to cohesinopathies, a broader group of disorders including Cornelia de Lange Spectrum (CdLSp), for which the prevalence of cancer cases remains unclear.

A Novel International Endoscopic Sphenoid Surgery Classification (IESSC): A Delphi Consensus
ABSTRACT Background Advancements in endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery created a need for standardized terminology to describe sphenoid sinus surgery. Although classification systems exist for other sinuses, one for endoscopic sphenoid sinus surgery is lacking.
