Abstract Electrochromatography with carefully adjusted electrolyte solutions (0.003 M zinc acetate, 0.035 M citric acid, and 0.0148 M sodium citrate) at pH 3.8 is an effective technique for the separation of mixtures of phosphoric acid, adenosine monophosphate, adenosinc diphosphate, and adenosine triphosphate.

Platelet Reaction to Adenosine Diphosphate in vivo
Nature, 1965ADENOSINE diphosphate (ADP) causes agglutination of human1–3, cat4 and rabbit3,5 platelets in vitro and has also been shown to produce a rapid though transient fall in the number of circulating platelets when injected intravascularly4–6. Born and Cross4 postulated that the intravenous injection of the nucleotide led to a drop in the platelet count ...

Isopolar Phosphonate Analogue of Adenosine Diphosphate Ribose
Organic Letters, 2004[structure: see text] The synthesis of the bisphosphonate ADP-ribose, in which acetylene has replaced the oxygen of the pyrophosphate linkage, is reported.

ADENOSINE DIPHOSPHATE RIBOSE PYROPHOSPHOHYDROLASE IN HUMAN SKIN
The Journal of Dermatology, 1980ABSTRACTAdenosine diphosphate ribose (ADPR) pyrophosphohydrolase (ADPR‐PPase), which catalyzes the hydrolysis of ADPR to yield adenosine monophosphate (AMP) and ribose‐5′‐phosphate, was assayed in human penile foreskin. Since ADPR is formed from nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) by NAD glycohydrolase (NADase), NADase was also assayed in human ...

Adenosine Diphosphate Induced Thrombosis in Hypothyroid Rats
Scandinavian Journal of Haematology, 1964ADP‐induced thrombi in hypothyroid rats are more stable than in normal animals. The persistance of the thrombi is thought to be due to a slow rate of inactivation of ADP.

Synthesis of Simple Adenosine Diphosphate Ribose Analogues
Nucleosides, Nucleotides & Nucleic Acids, 2008[See figures]. The synthesis of analogues of adenosine diphosphate ribose and acetylated adenosine diphosphate ribose, modified at the northern pentose, is reported. The stereochemistry at the acetylated centers was chosen to minimize acetyl migration and dictated the overall synthetic strategy.

Binding of Adenosine Diphosphate to Turkey Thrombocytes
Pathophysiology of Haemostasis and Thrombosis, 1982Adenosine diphosphate (ADP) caused rapid and reversible aggregation of turkey thrombocytes, as determined by optical and microscopical examination. To investigate the binding of ADP to these cells, turkey thrombocyte-rich plasma was incubated with ADP-8–14C or ADP-3–3H and with human serum albumin labeled ...
