Ketogenic diet for infantile epileptic spasms

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, EarlyView.

Bioactive Magnesium Silicate Activating Myocardial Energy Metabolism For Infarcted Myocardium Repair

open access: yesExploration, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The heart is a highly energy‐dependent organ, developing bioenergy‐activating biomaterials to activate myocardial adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production and restore dysregulated energy homeostasis is a promising solution for its functional recovery.

Salt Stress Induces Imbalanced ADI Pathway Gene Expressions in Pediococcus acidilactici Drives Citrulline Accumulation as an Ethyl Carbamate Precursor in Soy Sauce

open access: yesFood Bioengineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Citrulline is the main precursor of a carcinogen compound ethyl carbamate (EC) in soy sauce. Accumulation of citrulline is mainly related to metabolism of arginine by Pediococcus acidilactici via the arginine deiminase (ADI) pathway during soy sauce fermentation.
