Oncolytic Vaccinia Virus‐HSP70‐shRNA Amplifies Viral Replication, ROS/Autophagy, and Immunity to Fight Colorectal Cancer

OncoVV‑shHSP70, a vaccinia virus silencing HSP70, demonstrated potent antitumor efficacy in colorectal cancer cell lines, as well as in syngeneic, xenograft, and humanized mouse models. Triple‐Mutated HSV‐1 Expressing Soluble B7‐1 Plus CTLA‐4 Blockade Suppresses Lymph Node Metastasis in Tongue Cancer

In murine tongue cancer models, T‐mB7‐1, a triple‐mutated oncolytic herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV‐1) engineered to express soluble B7‐1, suppresses cervical lymph node metastasis and improves survival, addressing a major prognostic determinant in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC).

Gasdermin‐Mediated Pyroptosis: Novel Strategies Against Colorectal Cancer

Pyroptosis is a double‐edged sword in colorectal cancer (CRC): chronic low‐grade pyroptosis promotes tumor progression, whereas acute induction of pyroptosis in cancer cells triggers antitumor immunity and enhances therapeutic response. Targeting gasdermin‐mediated pyroptosis represents a promising strategy for CRC treatment.
