Hysteresis of White Adipose Tissue
Objective: This study was performed to analyze the modifications within adipose tissue during calorie restriction and more specifically to state whether hysteresis occurs during fat mass reduction. Method: Rats male Wistar increased their body weight by 130 g under control conditions and were then submitted to a calorie restriction (CR) at 30% or 60 ...

Extra-cellular matrix rigidity may dictate the fate of injury outcome [PDF]
After injury, if regeneration can be observed in hydra, planaria and some vertebrates, regeneration is rare in mammals and particularly in humans. In this paper, we investigate the mechanisms by which biological tissues recover after injury. We explore this question on adipose tissue, using the mathematical framework recently developed in Peurichard et

Ultra‐Fine 3D Bioprinting of Dynamic Hyaluronic Acid Hydrogel for in Vitro Modeling
3D bioprinting merges tissue engineering and additive manufacturing to create biological structures. A bioink is developed by modifying hyaluronic acid, a natural extracellular matrix polymer, with cysteine. Potassium iodide is later added to tune gelation kinetics, enabling fine printing with a 32G needle.

Adipose Tissue at the Party [PDF]
> For several centuries the adipose tissue was dubbed as a simpleton, a nincompoop; > > A tissue sans a voice of its own, passive, dumb, and always excluded from the group. > > Of smart actors and prime regulatory organs in high places, the endocrine glands; > > The adipose tissue cut a sorry figure in their midst; it could hardly take a firm stand.
