Abstract Background Physical activity (PA) and core stability levels are unknown for women with musculoskeletal chronic pelvic pain (CPP) compared to healthy women. Silicon dioxide vaginal gel and short‐term high‐risk human papillomavirus DNA detectability: A randomized controlled trial

In an independent randomized trial of 242 women with PCR‐confirmed hrHPV infection, 3 months of silicon dioxide‐based vaginal gel did not improve hrHPV DNA non‐detectability compared with observation alone (18% vs. 21%). Patient‐reported adverse events were more frequent with gel (32% vs. 2%), and overall patient satisfaction was lower.
