RSF1‐Dependent PAR Turnover Promotes 53BP1 Liquid Condensate Formation at DNA Damage Sites
At sites of DNA damage, RSF1 recruits PARG to accelerate PAR turnover, triggering a switch from PAR‐driven condensates to 53BP1 condensates. This condensate transition enables p53‐dependent gene transcription and coordinates the DNA damage response.

In septic cardiomyopathy, PARP7 directly binds TBK1 and mediates its ADP‐ribosylation, thereby repressing TBK1‐driven proinflammatory signaling in macrophages. ABSTRACT Septic cardiomyopathy is a life‐threatening complication of sepsis, and an uncontrolled inflammatory response represents a key pathogenic mechanism. PARP7 negatively regulates the IFN‐I

ADP-Ribosylation in Antiviral Innate Immune Response
Adenosine diphosphate (ADP)-ribosylation is a reversible post-translational modification catalyzed by ADP-ribosyltransferases (ARTs). ARTs transfer one or more ADP-ribose from nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) to the target substrate and release ...

A new class of lysosome‐directed molecular glue degraders selectively enhance CAPRIN1–APP interactions, driving APP degradation and reducing amyloid‐β production in human neurons and Alzheimer's disease mouse models. This CAPRIN1‐dependent targeted protein degradation strategy reveals a previously unrecognized therapeutic approach for disrupting the ...

BIOCHEMICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF AUTO-ADP-RIBOSYLATED NARE
Mono ADP-ribosylation is a post-translational modification, conserved in viruses, prokaryotes and eukaryotes. Several ADP-ribose transfer enzymes as ART2, ART5, ExoS and CT are able to modify themselves, changing their chemical and biological functions ...

MDL‐800‐induced SIRT6 activation decreases age‐associated osteoarthritis in mice
Objective SIRT6 is a nuclear‐localized histone deacetylase that regulates multiple pathways associated with aging. This study aimed to determine whether systemic administration of a small molecule activator of SIRT6, MDL‐800, decreases the severity of age‐associated osteoarthritis (OA) in mice.

Arf1 facilitates mast cell proliferation via the mTORC1 pathway
Mast cells are one of major players in allergic responses. Mast cell activation via the high affinity IgE receptor (FcεRI) causes degranulation and release of de novo synthesized proinflammatory cytokines in a process that involves vesicle trafficking ...

Ion Activation Methods for Top‐Down Proteomics
ABSTRACT Mass spectrometry (MS) has emerged as a premier method used to characterize the sequences of proteins. Top‐down proteomics aims to capture the multiple sources of structural diversity reflected in proteins, such as those that arise from alternative RNA splicing events or the addition of post‐translational modifications. Tandem MS (i.e., MS/MS)
