Ionic Liquid Facilitated Solvent‐Phase Polymerization of Ultrasmooth Coatings of Polycatecholamines
Ionic liquids used as polymerization medium produce soluble covalent polymers of catecholamines, such as dopamine, norepinephrine, L‐DOPA, and adrenaline, and enable the formation of ultra‐smooth surface coatings with roughness on the nm scale and a wide range of hydrophilicity.

How songs from growing up and viewers' attachment styles affect video ads' effectiveness
Abstract We propose that the positive effect of coming‐of‐age songs on ad effectiveness arises from a mediation process where the music‐evoked interpersonal memories of growing up stored in the brain and their accompanying emotions inevitably play a role, but not so straightforwardly as previously suggested.

Oral administration of salbutamol shows enantioselective disposition in human skeletal muscle, favoring the (S)‐enantiomer with higher relative partitioning of the pharmacologically active (R)‐enantiomer in muscle. This is concerning from an anti‐doping point of view because the anabolic properties demonstrated for salbutamol can potentially be ...

Abstract Many human diseases including cancer, degenerative and autoimmune disorders, diabetes and others are multifactorial. Pharmaceutical agents acting on a single target do not provide their efficient curation. Multitargeted drugs exhibiting pleiotropic pharmacological effects have certain advantages due to the normalization of the complex ...

Spatiotemporal distribution of neural crest cells in the common wall lizard Podarcis muralis
Abstract Background Neural crest cells (NCCs) are migratory embryonic stem cells that give rise to a diverse set of cell types. Here we describe the dynamic distribution of NCCs in developing embryos of the common wall lizard Podarcis muralis inferred from 10 markers.

Abstract Introduction Intradetrusor BotulinumtoxinA (BTA) injections are recommended for patients with overactive bladder (OAB) refractory to lifestyle changes and medical intervention. It is preferable to perform injections using a flexible cystoscope under local anesthetic (LA) rather than under spinal or general anesthetic owing to the associated ...
