Tensor network models of AdS/qCFT [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum, 2022
The study of critical quantum many-body systems through conformal field theory (CFT) is one of the pillars of modern quantum physics. Certain CFTs are also understood to be dual to higher-dimensional theories of gravity via the anti-de Sitter/conformal ...

Supersymmetry in the AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1999
We study how local symmetry transformations of (p, q) anti de Sitter supergravities in three dimensions act on fields on the two-dimensional boundary. The boundary transformation laws are shown to be the same as those of two-dimensional (p, q) conformal supergravities for p, q \leq 2.

Strings with non-relativistic conformal symmetry and limits of the AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We find a Polyakov-type action for strings moving in a torsional Newton-Cartan geometry. This is obtained by starting with the relativistic Polyakov action and fixing the momentum of the string along a non-compact null isometry.

Holographic duality between local Hamiltonians from random tensor networks

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
The AdS/CFT correspondence realises the holographic principle where information in the bulk of a space is encoded at its border. We are yet a long way from a full mathematical construction of AdS/CFT, but toy models in the form of holographic quantum ...

Universal entropy and hawking radiation of near-extremal AdS4 black holes

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We compute the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy of near-extremal asymptotically AdS4 electrically charged rotating black holes using three different methods: (i) from the gravity solution, (ii) from the near-horizon Kerr/CFT correspondence and (iii) from the ...

Asymptotically free AdS3/CFT2

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We propose a new AdS 3 /CFT 2 duality, in which the bulk string theory has a target spacetime AdS 3 times a squashed three-sphere S ♭ 3 $$ {\mathbbm{S}}_{\flat}^3 $$ , and the dual CFT 2 is a symmetric product of sigma models on ℝ ϕ × S ♭ 3 $$ {\mathbbm ...

Bulk locality in the AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2020
In this paper, we study the bulk local states in AdS/CFT correspondence in the large $N$ limit using the formula explicitly relating the bulk local operators and the CFT local operators.

Superfluidity in the AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2001
A chemical potential may be introduced into the AdS/CFT correspondence by setting the D3 branes of the construction spinning. In the field theory the fermionic modes are expected to condense as Cooper pairs, although at zero temperature the chemical potential destabilizes the scalar sector of the N=4 theory obscuring this phenomena.

Logarithmic corrections to the entropy of rotating black holes and black strings in AdS5

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We investigate logarithmic corrections to the entropy of supersymmetric, rotating, asymptotically AdS5 black holes and black strings. Within the framework of the AdS/CFT correspondence, the entropy of these black objects is determined, on the field ...

Nonrelativistic strings and limits of the AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Using target space null reduction of the Polyakov action, we find a novel covariant action for strings moving in a torsional Newton-Cartan geometry. Sending the string tension to zero while rescaling the Newton-Cartan clock 1-form, so as to keep the ...
