Lipoic Acid‐Intervened Decellularized Stem Cell Spheroid‐Based Injectable Granular Gel for Diabetic Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Advancements in tissue engineering have revolutionized therapeutic paradigms for diabetic tissue defects; however, the lack of applicable scaffold containing various bioactive substance aggregates remained a critical bottleneck hindering satisfactory repair effect.

Light‐Activatable Nitric Oxide Release via Intramolecular Electron Transfer for Tumor Pyroptosis Induction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work proposes a novel strategy to fabricate unimolecular pyroptosis photoinitiators activated by deep‐red light at low light doses. It relies on a photosensitization mechanism to trigger nitric oxide (NO) release from benzisothiadiazole‐based N‐nitrosanilines without modification of nitro moieties, thereby boosting pyroptosis‐mediated ...

Development of Vanadium Redox Catalysis for Efficient Selective Aerobic Oxidation of Biomass-Derived Alcohols

open access: yes, 2008
an efficient catalytic system using VOSO4/TEMPO/NaNO2 was developed for aerobic oxidation of alcohols under mild conditions. For example, biomass derived 5-hydroxymethylfurfural could be oxidized to 2,5-diformylfuran with nearly quantitative conversion ...

Epigenetic Silencing of RFX7 Defines a Transcriptional Axis Linking Lactate Metabolism to Immune Checkpoint Therapy in Glioblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Glioblastoma (GBM) exhibits RFX7 silencing via promoter hypermethylation, which downregulates PIK3IP1 to activate PI3K/AKT signaling, increase lactate accumulation, and enhance histone H4K12 lactylation. This lactylation upregulates PD‐L1/CSF1 expression and drives the immunosuppressive microenvironment formation.

Tumor‐Intrinsic ARHGEF3 Enhances Antitumor Immunity by Promoting T‐Cell Infiltration and Limiting Myeloid Cell‐Mediated Immunosuppression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ARHGEF3 is broadly downregulated across human cancers and correlates with patient prognosis. Tumor‐intrinsic ARHGEF3 activates the RHOA–ROCK–PTEN cascade to inhibit AKT signaling, thereby promoting chemokine‐driven T‐cell infiltration and relieving lipid‐mediated myeloid immunosuppression.

Basic metal carbonate supported gold nanoparticles: enhanced performance in aerobic alcohol oxidation

open access: yes, 2009
Gold nanoparticles supported by basic hydrozincite or bismuth carbonate are excellent catalysts for liquid-phase aerobic alcohol oxidation: the performance of a series of metal (Zn, Bi, Ce, La, Zr) carbonate supported gold catalysts depends strongly on ...

Nanozymes for Advanced Hemoglobin‐Based Oxygen Carriers: Applications in Blood Substitution, Wound Healing, Antitumor Therapy, and Beyond

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review explores how hemoglobin‐based oxygen carriers (HBOCs) combined with nanozymes create multifunctional materials that deliver oxygen while maintaining redox homeostasis. Beyond artificial blood substitutes, these constructs enable wound healing with light‐triggered oxygen release, cancer therapy through enhanced oxygenation and reactive ...

A promotion effect of alkaline-earth chloride on N-hydroxyphthalimide-catalyzed aerobic oxidation of hydrocarbons

open access: yes, 2009
Alkaline-earth chloride was used as an effective promoter for the aerobic oxidation of hydrocarbons catalyzed by N-hydroxyphthalimide (NHPI). Various hydrocarbons including benzylic compounds, cycloalkene, and cycloalkane can be easily oxygenated with ...

MetalCenter‐Dependent Selectivity Divergence in MN4 Single‐Atom Catalysts for Aerobic HMF Oxidation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Two single‐atom catalysts with M‐N4 configurations (FeN4 and CoN4) were developed for selective HMF oxidation. FeN4 achieves 93.9% selectivity toward FFCA via superoxide anions (O2•−), while CoN4 preferentially produces FDCA through hydroxyl radicals (•OH). DFT calculations reveal that distinct adsorption energies and charge redistribution at the metal
