Wireless Bioelectronic Modulation of Membrane Potential in Glioblastoma Using Carbon Nanotube Porins
A schematic illustrating glioblastoma cell membrane modulation using carbon nanotube porins (CNTPs) and an applied voltage. CNTPs enable ion flux leading to changes in membrane potential. This figure summarizes the concept of bioelectronic control of cell membrane voltage.

Current Concepts and Future Directions of CELSS [PDF]
Bioregenerative life support systems for use in space were studied. Concepts of such systems include the use of higher plants and/or microalgae as sources of food, potable water and oxygen, and as sinks for carbon dioxide and metabolic wastes.

SLC2A3 derived lactate promotes metastasis through p53 lactylation at K120 and osteoclast differentiation. Pharmacological inhibition of SLC2A3 upregulates PD‐1 expression on CD8+ T cells via lactate induced p53 lactylation, which modulates immune evasion. ABSTRACT Bone metastasis is a devastating consequence of lung cancer.

Hypertrophic scar formation is driven by excessive mitochondrial fission in wound macrophages, which we discover is governed by a novel AURKB‐DRP1(Ser616) axis. The study develops a targeted therapy using cRGD‐decorated extracellular vesicles to deliver the natural compound Asiaticoside specifically to macrophages.

Schematic model showing the suggested mechanism that ZA induces classical activation of macrophages by impairing mitochondrial biofunction and inhibiting mitochondrial clearance to contribute to the pathological process of BRONJ. RAPA‐loaded nanoparticles ZDPR has shown potential in alleviating BRONJ lesions as well as treating osteoporosis or ...

Magnesium silicide (Mg2Si) is introduced as a narrow‐bandgap, biodegradable semiconductor for transient electronics. RF‐sputtered and annealed Mg2Si thin films show high intrinsic electrical conductivity and low thermal conductivity. The polycrystalline material undergoes hydrolysis in aquatic and composting environments with minimal cytotoxicity ...
