Microsatellite-AFLP for genetic mapping of complex polyploids

Genome, 2003
In spite of the economical relevance of polyploid crops, genetic mapping of these species has been relatively overlooked. This is because of intrinsic difficulties such as the uncertainty of the chromosome behavior at meiosis I and the need for very large segregating populations.

[The advancement of AFLP technology].

Sheng wu gong cheng xue bao = Chinese journal of biotechnology, 2010
AFLP technology has been widely used in molecular biology due to its integration of several advantages of high throughput, high efficiency and requiring no sequence information, etc. Great changes have been achieved in recent years in AFLP-related technologies and platforms. There are several AFLP-expanded technologies available.

Individual Analysis of Transposon Polymorphisms by AFLP

2012
The DNA polymorphisms caused by insertion and excision of transposable elements (TEs) are applicable in studying genome dynamics, genetic diversity, and molecular evolution, generating genome-wide molecular maps and investigating functional attributes of transposons in epigenetics and diseases. Identification of individual mutations caused by TEs using
