Genetics and Molecular Biology, 1998 Sequential banding analysis (Giemsa-C-banding-Ag NOR) of chromosomes of the common rhea (Rhea americana) was performed. Metaphases were obtained by peripheral blood lymphocyte culture and monolayer embryo cell culture.
