Convergence of the age structure of general schemes of population processes
We consider a family of general branching processes with reproduction parameters depending on the age of the individual as well as the population age structure and a parameter $K$, which may represent the carrying capacity.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Forecasting of the population’s reproduction of Krasnodar region
Demographic forecasts are a base of modern social policy. The future of the Russian Federation depends on the reproduction of the population. The author considers the expected number and life expectancy of the population of the country’s third largest ...

Age Structure of the Workforce and Firm Performance. [PDF]
In this contribution, we examine the interrelation between corporate age structures and firm performance. In particular, we address the issues, whether firms with young rather than older employees are successful and whether firms with homogeneous or ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Etiological Structure Salmonellosis in Toddlers
An analysis of official statistics and monitoring of salmonella presented multiyear incidence and etiological structure of salmonella in different age groups. It is shown that the major etiologic significance of Salmonella leading serovars in toddlers (0

Regional age structure and economic growth: an econometric study for German regions [PDF]
This paper analyses the impact of the regional age structure on growth of German regions. Based on a neoclassical growth model an augmented Solow model was derived and estimated in a spatial econometric approach.

Development of technology for hot-drape forming of large torus sections [PDF]
Compound-contoured sheet metal structure development is aided by hot-drape forming, a method combining hot-stretch forming, die quenching, and age forming.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
