Introduction and reconciliation of the ROS and aging paradoxes [PDF]
arXiv, 2017 This paper suggests that aging is influenced synthetically by pro-aging factors such as ROS and anti-aging factors such as protective responses. The anti-aging effect may be side effects of retrograde responses motivated against adverse circumstances. ROS may be more closely correlated with metabolism rather than aging.

Our data indicate that high gut microbiota alpha diversity was associated with improved clinical outcome and with benefit from immunotherapy.
