Operations on Hesitant Linguistic terms sets Induced By Archimedean Triangular Norms And Conorms

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2018
The aim of the paper is to discuss some new operations on hesitant fuzzy linguistic terms sets based on Archimedean t-norm and t-conorm. The advantage is that the operations on hesitant fuzzy linguistic terms sets are closed, by studying propositions of ...

Bonferroni Prioritized Aggregation Operators Applied to Government Transparency

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
This article applies the Bonferroni prioritized induced heavy ordered weighted average (OWA) to analyze a series of data and focuses on the Bonferroni average and heavy induced prioritized aggregation operators.

Aggregation on bipolar scales [PDF]

open access: yes
The paper addresses the problem of extending aggregation operators typically defined on $[0,1]$ to the symmetric interval $[-1,1]$, where the ``0'' value plays a particular role (neutral value).

Homogeneous Aggregation Operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Recently, the utilization of invariant aggregation operators, i.e., aggregation operators not depending on a given scale of measurement was found as a very current theme. One type of invariantness of aggregation operators is the homogeneity what means that an aggregation operator is invariant with respect to multiplication by a constant.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Complex Fuzzy Power Aggregation Operators

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, 2019
A complex fuzzy set is an extension of the fuzzy set, of which membership grades take complex values in the complex unit disk. We present two complex fuzzy power aggregation operators including complex fuzzy weighted power (CFWP) and complex fuzzy ordered weighted power (CFOWP) operators.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Aggregation Functions Considering Criteria Interrelationships in Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making: State-of-the-Art

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Aggregation function is an important component in an information aggregation or information fusion system. Interrelationships usually exist between the input arguments (e.g., the criteria in the multi-criteria decision making) of an aggregation function.

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

In vitro properties of patient serum predict clinical outcome after high dose rate brachytherapy of hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.
