Argonaute 2 restored erectile function and corpus cavernosum mitochondrial function by reducing apoptosis in a mouse model of cavernous nerve injury [PDF]
Purpose: To determine whether the overexpression of the Argonaute RNA-induced silencing complex catalytic component 2 (Ago2) improves erectile function in mice after cavernous nerve injury (CNI).

CircPROSC promotes craniosynostosis by sponging miR‐6815‐5p, thereby activating WNT3A/β‐catenin signaling and enhancing RUNX2‐mediated osteogenesis. Targeted silencing of circPROSC with MSC membrane–coated siRNA nanoparticles (MM@Lipo/si‐circPROSC) delivered postnatally into cranial sutures attenuates premature suture closure in Twist1+/– mice ...

Strong reduction of AGO2 expression in melanoma and cellular consequences [PDF]
Processing of microRNAs (miRNAs) is a highly controlled process. Deregulation of miRNA expression was observed in several types of cancer but changes in the miRNA-processing enzymes have not been analysed until today. In this study, we analysed Argonaute2 (AGO2, EIF2C2), as one main factor of the miRNA processing ensemble, in the context of cancer ...

Systematic identification of mRNAs recruited to argonaute 2 by specific microRNAs and corresponding changes in transcript abundance. [PDF]
microRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNAs that regulate mRNA stability and translation through the action of the RNAi-induced silencing complex (RISC).

Red Blood Cell‐Derived Exosomal miR‐93‐5p Promotes Lung Cancer Progression through PTEN Suppression
Red blood cell (RBC)‐derived exosomal miR‐93‐5p is elevated in lung cancer patients and correlates with poor outcomes. Exosomal miR‐93‐5p suppresses PTEN in cancer cells, enhancing proliferation, migration, and invasion. In mouse models, therapeutic inhibition with ASO‐miR‐93 5p reduces tumor growth, highlighting a bidirectional tumor‐RBC‐tumor axis ...

RNAi Regulator C3PO Promotes Arbovirus Infection in Insect Vectors
RNA interference (RNAi) is vital for eukaryotes to defend against virus infection. The C3PO complex takes part in RNAi but its role in regulating viral infection remains unclear. This work finds that insect C3PO facilitates arbovirus replication by degrading precursors of miRNAs, especially miR‐971‐3p.

ABSTRACT Background Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the major factors endangering human health due to its poor prognosis, resulting from difficulties in early diagnosis and lack of effective treatment measures. Long non‐coding RNAs (lncRNAs), which are RNA molecules that do not translate into proteins, play essential roles in various tumor ...

ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are key mediators of maternal–foetal communication, regulating placental function and foetal development through the transfer of bioactive molecules. Although placental EVs play a crucial role in placental function during pregnancy, their contribution to foetal development, notably foetal brain, remains poorly ...
