Durante quatro anos foram detectadas 25 prenhezes, em 13 diferentes pacas, por meio de ultra-sonografia. Após a detecção ultra-sonográfica, as fêmeas foram separadas em baias individuais para o nascimento dos filhotes e aí mantidas até o desmame.
