Bu çalışmada, kaplanmamış ve titanyum nitrür (TiN) kaplanmış AISI D2 soğuk iş takım çeliğinin silisyum nitrür bilyeye karşı 0.3 m/s hızda, 2.5N, 5N ve 10N yükler altındaki aşınma davranışı test edilmiştir. Çelik numuneler öncelikli olarak 575°C’de 8 saat süre ile nitrürlenmiştir.
