This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.

A Perspective on Interactive Theorem Provers in Physics
Into an interactive theorem provers (ITPs), one can write mathematical definitions, theorems and proofs, and the correctness of those results is automatically checked. This perspective goes over the best usage of ITPs within physics and motivates the open‐source community run project PhysLean, the aim of which is to be a library for digitalized physics

Geometric and algebraic classification of quadratic differential systems with invariant hyperbolas
Let QSH be the whole class of non-degenerate planar quadratic differential systems possessing at least one invariant hyperbola. We classify this family of systems, modulo the action of the group of real affine transformations and time rescaling ...

Correlation Image Sensor for Algebraic Solution of Optical Flow
In this article, we describe several enhancements of a three-phase correlation image sensor (3PCIS) toward its uses for a direct algebraic method of optical flow detection, i.e., determining velocity field of image patterns for detecting, tracking, and ...

Physical Origin of Temperature Induced Activation Energy Switching in Electrically Conductive Cement
The temperature‐induced Arrhenius activation energy switching phenomenon of electrical conduction in electrically conductive cement originates from structural degradation within the biphasic ionic‐electronic conduction architecture and shows percolation‐governed characteristics: pore network opening dominates the low‐percolation regime with downward ...

The Numerical Solution of Differential and Differential-Algebraic Systems [PDF]
Systems of ordinary differential equations (ODE) or ordinary differential/algebraic equations (DAE) are well-known mathematical models. The numerical solution of such systems are discussed. For (ODE) we mention some available codes and stress the need of

Traction Force Microscopy for Viscoelastic Substrates: A Semi‐Analytical Method
A semi‐analytical viscoelastic traction force microscopy framework is introduced for quantifying time‐resolved cell tractions on flat finite‐thickness substrates. The method generalizes elastic traction force microscopy to Generalized Maxwell materials, identifies when elastic approximations remain valid and, when they do not, shows that inferred ...
