Sorption and activation of hydrocarbons by molecular sieves [PDF]
Substantial progress has been made recently in the understanding of sorption and activation of alkanes. This progress reflects the emergence of new theoretical and experimental results, leading to a more quantitative picture of the elementary steps ...

Alkane biosynthesis gene expression and its increased production in recombinant cyanobacteria
Microalgae such as cyanobacteria convert CO2 to compatible drop‐in fuels, such as alkanes. However, the production yield is approximately 0.05–1.0% of the dry weight of natural algae.

This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

DISTRIBUTION OF HYDROCARBONS IN PARTICULATE MATTER AND BOTTOM SEDIMENTS OF THE VOLGA DELTA
Data are presented on the content and composition of hydrocarbons (aliphatic and polyaromatic) in the filtered particulate matter and in the surface layer of the bottom sediments of the Volga River and the northern shelf of the Caspian Sea.

Quenching of lamellar ordering in an n-alkane embedded in nanopores
We present an X-ray diffraction study of the normale alkane nonadecane C_{19}H_{40} embedded in nanoporous Vycor glass. The confined molecular crystal accomplishes a close-packed structure by alignment of the rod-like molecules parallel to the pore axis ...

A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.
