Aminothiolation of alkenes with azoles and Bunte salts
We have developed an intermolecular aminothiolation of simple olefins using Bunte salt as a thiolating agent. This protocol produces thiyl free radicals under PIDA oxidation conditions, eliminating the need for transition-metal catalysts.
