Feasibility of a ctDNA multigenic panel for non‐small‐cell lung cancer early detection and disease surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Plasma‐based detection of actionable mutations is a promising approach in lung cancer management. Analysis of ctDNA with a multigene NGS panel identified TP53, KRAS, and EGFR as the most frequently altered, with TP53 and KRAS in treatment‐naïve patients and TP53 and EGFR in previously treated patients.

The effect of room temperature pre-ageing on tensile and electrical properties of thermomechanically treated Al-Mg-Si alloy [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mining and Metallurgy. Section B: Metallurgy, 2002
A commercial Al - 0.62%Mg - 0.57%Si was thermomechanically treated (TMT). The TMT process included solution treatment, room temperature preageing, drawing (e=95%) and final ageing.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Effect of Heating Rate on Creep Aging Behavior of 2219 Aluminum Alloy

open access: yesCailiao gongcheng, 2018
Effect of heating rate on creep aging behavior and mechanical properties in the process of creep aging forming of 2219 aluminum alloy was studied. In order to simulate the temperature conditions of the component in autoclave, heating rate was reduced to ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Modeling and Simulation of the Static Recrystallization of 5754 Aluminium Alloy by Cellular Automaton

open access: yesMetals, 2018
To study the factors that affect the mechanical properties of materials, double-pass hot compression tests were performed under different deformation parameters using a Gleeble-3500 thermo-simulation machine.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Development and application analysis of ceramic composites armor for helicopter

open access: yesJournal of Aeronautical Materials, 2019
At present, lightweight armour has been fitted in foreign military helicopters for gunships and transport. By contrast, the armor configuration of domestic helicopters is still a big gap compared with Europe and America in the level type, quantity and ...
