ABSTRACT The production of plant‐based meat analogues from various protein sources is an emerging application worldwide, driven by growing population and health concerns. Many microorganisms during fermentation play a crucial role in fermented plant‐based meat alternatives, together with structuring and analytical approaches in terms of nutritional ...

Aging‐Driven Immunosuppression: The Role of Tregs in the Ovarian Tumor Microenvironment
In the aged ovarian TME, cancer cells exhibit increased succinate production. Elevated extracellular succinate activates the SUCNR1 receptor on Tregs, promoting their recruitment and contributing to an immunosuppressive environment. This leads to diminished anti‐tumor T cell responses and reduced survival.

Telomere shortening occurs with age in the respiratory epithelium, but telomere dysfunction‐induced foci (TIF) accumulate only late in life. In contrast, proteostasis decline emerges earlier and correlates with functional impairment, suggesting it may be a primary driver of cellular senescence during physiological aging.

During skeletal muscle ageing, down‐regulation of TRα expression activates IP3R1 transcriptional expression, promotes MAM calcium transport, triggers mitochondrial calcium overload and apoptosis, leading to skeletal muscle atrophy. Restoring TRα expression can improve IP3R1‐mediated mitochondrial calcium overload and apoptosis in ageing skeletal muscle
