(±)-N-(3-Chlorophenethyl)-2-(6-methoxynaphthalen-2-yl)propanamide

open access: yesMolbank, 2023
Herein we report the synthesis of (±)-N-(3-chlorophenethyl)-2-(6-methoxynaphthalen-2-yl)propanamide in the reaction between 2-(3-chlorophenyl)ethan-1-amine and (±)-naproxen. The newly obtained bio-functional hybrid molecule was fully characterized via 1H,

Quantum dynamics of N-methylacetamide studied by the vibrational configuration interaction method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Vibrational energy transfer of the amide I mode of N-methylacetamide (NMA) is studied theoretically using the vibrational configuration interaction method. A quartic force field of NMA is constructed at the B3LYP/6-31G+(d) level of theory and its accuarcy is checked by comparing the resulting anharmonic frequencies with available theoretical and ...

Regioselective and Anisotropic Multi‐Patching of Small Microparticles via a Polymer Brush‐Assisted Microcontact Printing (µCP)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A method to fabricate anisotropic SiO2 patchy microspheres is presented using a modified microcontact printing technique. This involves a PDMS elastomer stamp with grooved surface topography, creating a confined environment for the microspheres.

(±)-R,S-2-Chloro-N-(4-methyl-2-oxo-2H-chromen-7-yl)-2-phenylacetamide

open access: yesMolbank
In this study, we report the synthesis of (±)-2-chloro-N-(4-methyl-2-oxo-2H-chromen-7-yl)-2-phenylacetamide through the reaction of 7-amino-4-methyl-2H-chromen-2-one with (±)-2-chloro-2-phenylacetyl chloride.

Multifunctional Hydroxyapatite Coated with Gallium Liquid Metal‐Based Silver Nanoparticles for Infection Prevention and Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A multifunctional hydroxyapatite (HAp) coating integrated with silver‐gallium liquid metal nanoparticles (HAp‐Ag‐GaNPs) exhibits dual antibacterial and osteogenic properties. It effectively inhibits Gram‐positive and Gram‐negative bacteria, including resistant strains, while enhancing bone regeneration.

N-(3,4-Dimethoxyphenyl)-4-oxo-2,3,7-triazaspiro[4.5]dec-1-ene-1-carboxamide Hydrochloride

open access: yesMolbank, 2012
A simple and novel route for synthesis of new spirocyclic amide derivative is developed. The present work involves the oxidative cleavage of tert-butyl 1-(furan-2-yl)-4-oxo-2,3,7-triazaspiro[4.5]dec-1-ene-7-carboxylate ...

Copper(II) complexes with a flexible oxamato ligand [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We report on a convenient synthesis of the ligand precursor, diethylethylene-1,2-bis(oxamate), (Et2H2oeo, 1), and show how a partial and preferential hydrolysis of the ester group can give rise to the dianionic ligand, (H2oeo)2−.

Experimental Atom-by-Atom Dissection of Amide–Amide and Amide–Hydrocarbon Interactions in H2O [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the American Chemical Society, 2017
Quantitative information about amide interactions in water is needed to understand their contributions to protein folding and amide effects on aqueous processes and to compare with computer simulations. Here we quantify interactions of urea, alkylated ureas, and other amides by osmometry and amide-aromatic hydrocarbon interactions by solubility ...
