Acaricides for eradication of the tick Amblyomma variegatum in the Caribbean [PDF]

The discovery of I-BRD9, a selective cell active chemical probe for bromodomain containing protein 9 inhibition [PDF]
Acetylation of histone lysine residues is one of the most well-studied post-translational modifications of chromatin, selectively recognized by bromodomain “reader” modules.

Amidines. II. Preparation of unsymmetrical N1,N2-disubstituted amidines.
Unsymmetrical N1, N2-disubstituted amidines were prepared by conventional and newly developed methods. Reaction of N1-tosyl-N1, N2-diarylacetamidines and arylamines gave unsymmetrical acetamidines in the presence of basic catalysts, and N1-acyl-N1, N2-di(p-nitrophenyl)formamidines and arylamines gave unsymmetrical formamidines under neutral conditions.

Synthesis of novel 6-enaminopurines [PDF]
Two different approaches have been used for the synthesis of 6-enaminopurines 6 from 5-amino-4-cyanoformimidoyl imidazoles 1. In the first approach imidazoles 1 were reacted with ethoxymethylenemalononitrile or ethoxymethylenecyanoacetate under mild ...

TBI induces NETs formation, as evidenced by the upregulation of PAD4 and MPO. NETs activate the necroptosis pathway via phosphorylation of RIP1‐RIP3‐MLKL, thereby exacerbating secondary brain injury (neuronal death, BBB disruption, and neuroinflammation).

Synthesis and Characterization of 6-Carbamoyl-1,2-dihydropurines
The aromatic amines react readily with (Z)-N-(2-amino-1,2-dicyanovinyl)formimidate (4) to give the amidines (5a-b), which cyclize in the presence of DBU (1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene) to give the corresponding 2-(5-Amino-1-phenyl-1H-imidazol-4-yl ...

A Pd(II) allyl‐amidinate complex catalyzes the selective oxidation of benzyl alcohols to aldehydes using allyl alkyl carbonates as tailored, mild oxidants. The carbonate reagent acts both as oxidant and in situ base, enabling chemoselective conversion and minimizing overoxidation under mild conditions.

Abstract Netherton syndrome (NS) is a rare, severe, and often life‐threatening disease for which current therapeutic approaches are limited and show variable effectiveness. NS is characterized by excessive epidermal desquamation that results in a highly defective epidermal barrier, constitutive skin inflammation, allergies, and hair abnormalities.
